About us

Montessori Chacala (El Jardín) is a non-profit school located in the heart of Chacala, Nayarit, Mexico. Founded in 2012, it became the region’s first alternative education project, committed to providing accessible, high-quality education for local families.

Today, nearly 80% of our students receive scholarships through the Chacala Education Fund, a non-profit organization that makes our scholarship program possible. Thanks to this support, nearly all of Chacala’s children can take part in our programs, which include Preschool, Elementary, and Middle School.

Beyond academics, we nurture creativity, social-emotional growth, and a strong sense of community.
